The HGH (His Highness Gondal Heritage) Group Hotels is a collection of heritage properties owned and managed by the Gondal royal family in Gujarat. The focus is simple: preserve historic royal residences and offer them as genuine, well-kept places to stay—without turning them into themed hotels. Each property reflects a different chapter of Gondal’s past, with original architecture, interiors, and surroundings carefully maintained. Modern comforts are added only where necessary, keeping the emphasis on space, calm, and authenticity.
For Taj Ganges, Varanasi, my styling focused on bringing warmth and a sense of place to the hotel’s spaces. Thoughtfully chosen objects, florals and locally inspired details complemented the interiors, reflecting the character of Varanasi and the gracious hospitality of Taj.
